IMPORTANT UPDATE
FOR ANYONE ATTENDING OUR 10-18S SESSIONS ON 20TH OR 21ST AUGUST
If you (or your child aged 10-18) is booked onto the Beach Trip (20th August) or the Games Day (21st August), please read this information carefully!
Due to our great British weather's unpredictability, unfortunately thunderstorms are now predicted at Formby Beach on Thursday 20th August. However, the weather is meant to be much clearer on Friday 21st. We have therefore decided to switch the games day and the beach trip days around, so the games day will now take place on the 20th August and the beach trip will take place on 21st August.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN IF I'M BOOKED ONTO THE BEACH TRIP?
Other than the date, none of the details will change. We are still leaving by coach at 10.30 from St Michael's Hall, Orton Road, M23 0WP, on Friday 21st August. Our return time is weather-dependent (if it's good weather, we will stay a little longer) but is likely to be some time between 3.30 and 5pm.
We do understand that this change of date may mean your child can now not attend the trip. Where possible, please let us know by email on john@revolutionyouth.co.uk.
Please note: Unless you have specifically booked this trip, your child will not be able to attend. If you're unsure, please check your confirmation email which was sent, or contact the email address above. You must have some form of confirmation for your child to attend.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN IF I'M BOOKED ONTO THE GAMES DAY?
This will now take place at 11am-3pm on Thursday 20th August, leaving from St Michael's Hall, Orton Road, M23 0WP. However, please note that the weather is meant to be very bad on that day. As a result, if your child does not wish to attend on the day, that will be fine - we won't mark it down as a missed session. But, for those who do wish to come, please bring some waterproofs! We'll be running the session as normal, though we expect it will be a bit of a smaller session than usual. We may also consider ending the session early depending on how wet and miserable we all get!
